Hi there! I’m Kay from Paws and Pines. I am an eco-friendly blogger, an animal-lover, a nature-enthusiast, and a constant learner.
On my site, I share simple ways to be more environmentally friendly. My blog is essentially a collection of lessons that I’m learning on my own journey – lessons that I hope will inspire at least one other person to fight for our beautiful planet just a little bit more every day.
With all that I recommend, you’ll generally find that it aligns with being green, minimalist, and chic.
Simply by living life day-by-day, random questions pop into my head:
how do you live zero-waste with a cat?!
is it better for the environment to get a fake or a real Christmas tree?!
how do my co-workers drink so much coffee? and how many of those used coffee capsules are tossed daily?!
I’m curious so I’ll always try to Google my question immediately. If a topic turns out to have more layers than initially meets the eye, or if I think the information that I’m learning could be useful to a wider audience if presented a different way, I’ll start delving into it deeper. Having accumulated this new knowledge at the end of my learning process, I think it makes sense that I share it with whomever else may be interested and that’s what I do on Paws and Pines.
Additionally, I’m a big believer that you are what you think you are. By identifying as an environmentally-friendly person, my perspective in life is tinted with this self-attribution and it encourages me to do more things that I think an eco-friendly person would do.
Good for me and good for the planet!
But above all, it’s nice to have a place on the internet that is mine. It let’s me reflect on the things I learn and it gives me the opportunity to connect with like-minded people. I’m always looking to make new friends so please reach out if you want to connect =)
