Julie from Le blog de Jule
Hello there!
My name is Julie (aka Jule), I am 23 years old and I currently live in Montreal (Québec, Canada). I graduated from the Cégep de Saint-Laurent (Cégep is the equivalent of College in the province of Québec), where I studied music and my blog is my principal occupation at the moment.

First created at the end of July 2013 as a journal during my transition to veganism, I now also blog on my journey to a “zero waste” lifestyle (which I started in September 2014, one year after going vegan). I also try to give general tips on how to be more sustainable on a daily basis. Translated to English, my blog’s name is simply “Jule’s blog”. 🙂
As I am writting this, I can fit 2 months of trash in a Mason jar (say whaaat?!).
How did I do it?
Well, since the story behind why I decided to make these big changes in my habits is a bit long (because I love to write, so I can’t keep it short – I tried hard to keep it short here!), I invite you to read the “About” page on my blog if you are curious to know more about me and my motivations. It is written in French, but some Internet browsers can translate it automatically. If not, Google Translate is here for that! 😉
So, you have probably guessed it by now: my whole blog is written in French, but I am making huge efforts to write it in proper French so it is easily translated to English.
Finally, you are all welcome to visit my blog and say hi! You can even leave comments in English if you want to, I am pretty comfortable with the language (like in “I have not used Google Translate to write this post”, except when really in doubt about something), but it would help me practice a little more! 🙂
